SafariQuitter - iphone 3g has very little memory and safari takes up a considerable amount of memory. install this to force safari to quit running in the background after exiting

Auto3G? - we know 3G drains our battery fast, so this app is supposed to save battery by switching to the slower EDGE network when the phone is in lock mode. tried on my iphone 3g but it was not working though
AppSync *must have* - allows cra*cked apps to install
AdBlock - block ads on safari
BiteSMS *must have* - a powerful SMS app, comes with sms counter, quick reply, quick compose, etc
CyDelete - allows you to remove Cydia apps as with normal apps. very convenient if you like to test Cydia apps

Insommnia Pro - allows WiFi to run in lock mode
Lockdown Pro / iProtect - individually password protect your apps
MakeItMine *cool* - change your carrier name
NoSpot *remove annoyance* - removes spotlight from displaying and getting in the way when browsing between pages
SBSettings *must have* - a quick and convenient way to toggle settings
Rotation Inhibitor - adds a toggle to SBSettings to enable/disable rotation. useful if you like to use the phone on your bed
ShakeToUndo Killer *remove annoyance* - disables Shake to Undo feature of iOS. remember this popup that comes up accidentally while typing at times?
Snappy *must have* - allows you to activate the camera without exiting an app. snappy can be accessed from the lock screen also. very convenient. my fave feature is to be able to use the physical volume buttons as a shutter button
3G Unrestrictor - makes apps think that they are running on WiFi so that they can run on 3G. useful for apps like WiFi-restricted apps like Facetime, Skype and Youtube?

AndroidLock / AndroidLock XT - change your lockscreen similar to an Android OS
iBlacklist / MCleaner - block/filter calls or sms
LockInfo/Intelliscreen - powerful lockscreen customisers
Winterboard - themes for iphone
QuickLock / QuickLock 2 *must have* - reduce the amount of abuse on your physical lock button as it acts as a lock button. i place it at the right corner of my dock so it becomes very convenient to lock my phone
Infinifolder / Folder Enhancer - remove 12 icon limit in folders and many other folder tweaks
MxTube - download from youtube
iFile - file manager and viewer
iBluetooth - first app that enables the file transfer via bluetooth
frash - flash for the iphone if you still insist, but be warned it is not stable
